We the undersigned hereby petition...
Logged in Google users referral data is masked by Google. So people logged in to Youtube, Gmail, Google+ or any other Google service show up as ‘undefined’ in Google Analytics. In fact, no web analytics tool can 'see' that data anymore. Some sites already see 'undefined' rates up to 50%. When Google+ really takes off, ‘undefined’ could approach 100%... Of course that is a bit of a bummer for web analytics to say the least. Google says that this is a privacy issue but that does not explain why the keyword data IS available for Adwords campaigns and NOT for organic search.. Does privacy stop when it concerns Google’s wallet? Sign the petition to urge Google to give our data back!
