Description

We the tweeters support the rights for each and every Australian to marry, no matter their sexual preference. Currently, the marriage law of Australia does not allow for members of the GLBT community to marry. Our Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, and her cabinet are opposed to any amendments of the law, and the people of Australia should be allowed to vote on important decisions affecting the rights of Australians such as this one. We, the undersigned tweeters, request that Ms. Gillard put this issue to referendum and allow the population and people of this great nation to voice their opinion on same-sex marriage and to allow the law to be changed.
