No interference by the British government into the management of Telnic

We, the undersigned international user community of the .tel extension managed by Telnic Limited, are opposed to any interference by the British government into the management of this Registry Operator. The management of this company does not fall under the jurisdiction of any one country’s government, as this top-level domain is already governed by a globally recognized and highly respected institution - ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. We hope that the announced measures concerning .tel will be abolished in view of our rightful interests and the global nature of this non-country specific top-level domain name.
